Double Or Nothing

The Swiss – Double Or Nothing (2011)

Deceptively cheap, which means it is great in my books. Could have been made some thirty years ago, or just now.

Yesterday he sampled “Apache” and revived Chicago sound.

Tomorrow he’s gonna tear up all the world’s hit-parades.

Alley Cat

Volta Bureau – Alley Cat (2011)

…And I had to cut all the violins and “OMG!” segments not to exceed the 1:30 limit. And it goes on and on, and on, like that for over 5 minutes. True wonder. Currently #1 at Beatport, of course.

Yet another rework, used in my previous (sloppy) mini-mixset.

Okay Edit – Simple (1981/2011)

Extra bragging rights to whoever knows where the vocal samples come from – and writes the references in comments.

Heatwave

Technically, I would call that an edit, but just like the Voyage track by his mate Kris Menace (they both love House Of Music apparently!) I couldn’t find a mention to the original material anywhere in the credits. Whatever, the track rocks.

Lifelike – Heatwave (2011)

If you don’t know the original yet (that’s impossible) you can take a look here, there, or even here for the B side.
